It All Began When I Confronted My Fears Head On, And Shifted My Beliefs.

During this time, I lived with chronic anxiety

Out walking one day, I discovered a meditation center and decided to sign up for sound healing and restorative yoga classes, which got me out of the house and introduced a peace and relaxation I hadn't felt in years. I met a sound healer who introduced me to a whole new world of energy, sound, meditation and self-discovery. I learned to reconnect with my intuition and strengths. To stop fighting my fears, grief, and anger and instead to let it in, process it, find purpose in it, and let it go.
The next part of my journey led me to a holistic nutritionist who taught me how to eat to fuel my body and quiet my fearful heart. She encouraged me to move my body again, something I was afraid to do because of my fast heart rate. She introduced the idea of healing from the inside out and ultimately, helped me release limiting beliefs and fears that I was "sick" with new beliefs that "I am healthy and strong". For the first time in a while, I didn't feel so alone. I started feeling better in my own body, finding what worked for me, and little-by-little my symptoms lessened and subsided. Over time, I learned to make room for joy,
love and new beginnings. |
